A lawyer must represent his or her client aggressively. Before filing a complaint against your opponent's lawyer, remember that it is an attorney's duty to represent his or her client vigorously and well. In the adversarial system each side presents a different version of the facts in the lawsuit, which can create hard feelings and ill will. You may not like what the lawyer is doing, particularly if it has a negative impact on you, but that does not necessarily make the conduct unethical. Only flagrant abuses will be disciplined, usually only after the court has ruled on the matter.
